 The photograph above was taken in connection with a tour to the southern 
 front in June 1942.
 Here Japanese officers are welcoming the officers from Germany, Italy,
 Finland and Rumania.

 The military officer of each country is carrying the Guntō.
 Captain Laine is 4th from right in tropical helmet. He has the Cavalry
 saber of 1922 models. 
 The reason which foreign military officers other than Japan have in the hand without hanging a saber is not known.

 Although the Japanese army officer is carrying the Guntō to the military uniform, two Finland officers of
 Mongolian inspection are everyday clothes. The central Japanese army red hat has the old Guntō (saber).
 The left Japanese army officer has the Guntō of Uchigatana reconstruction to which the tassel is not attached in the hand.

The center of the front row is Takazumi Oka, a navy lieutenant general.
Kaila, an Army colonel, is the third person from the right of a central sequence.

  " Soyakofu (Oyabyo) Summer 1943, Lt.Col Sakamoto"

 This reads with "the summer of 1943, Soyakofu 0yabyo, Lieutenant Colonel
 Sakamoto."
 However, the person on the right of a photograph wears the military
 uniform of Manchukuo, and has a saber.
 
 Was he a Japanese military officer for guiding the Manchukuo military?

 The details of the mausoleum of a background are unknown.

 The "hypothetical enemy" of the Kantōgun was the Soviet Union.
 Finland had already experienced the war for the Soviet Union twice.
 Colonel Kaila gave a lecture on the method of war with the Soviet Union to the Kantōgun.


Some of various texts on which Colonel Kaila gave a lecture.
It is the "top secret" and "confidential" treatment of the Kantōgun.



 

 Captain Laine who wore the regular military uniform of the Finland army.
 Although the Manchukuo officer is carrying the Gunto, Captain Laine has
 stuck neither the belt of a sword, nor a saber.

 Colonel Kaila shown above is wearing the uniform of the Guards Unit who had
 all ornaments in the white band.
 Colonel Kaila acted as the chief of the Finnish Reserve Officers School
 during 1926 to 1928.

Colonel Kaila is indicated to No. 11 and Captain Laine's name is indicated to No. 22.
