「一貫斎国護」

特注型　銘: 一貫斎國護　近代刀、(刃長: 66.4㎝・反り: 1.9㎝)、鉄鞘(朱光沢塗)、透かし鐔、全切羽装備、
　　　　　　　駐爪式、白柄糸諸撮巻(もろつまみまき)・金具:銀下地に黒色上げ、目抜き中央に家紋、
　　　　　　　ハバキに「殉國」の刻印、防塵2分割口金　佐官刀緒付　(全長:102.0㎝)

Special order type Mei: Ikkansai Kunimori、Modern-tō, (Blade length: 66.4㎝, Curvature: 1.9㎝),
Iron scabbard: Special order color: Vermilion gloss coating.). Metal fittings of black dyeing,
Spring-clip. A mallow-shaped openwork guard, All the washers equipment, Protection-against-dust
halving throat, The white tsuka-ito of "Moro-tsumami" bindings, A family crest to the center of a
metal ornaments, The engraving of "JYUNKOKU=sacrificing oneself to country" on a blade collar,
With the tassel for field officers, Overall length: 102.0㎝.

　太刀銘: 東都住人一貫斎國護謹作

　一貫斎國護: 本名: 宮口繁、宮口一貫斎三代目。初名「壽廣」。備前、山城伝に勝れ、彫刻も得意とす
　る。昭和8年～日本刀鍛錬会主任刀匠、「靖廣」を受銘(靖国刀)。
　昭和11年～大倉鍛錬場主任刀匠。
　「国護」銘は、特に依頼されて作る洋鉄軍刀に限りこの銘を用いる事になっていた(大日本刀劍商工名鑑)。
　昭和14年後鳥羽上皇七百年祭奉納刀謹作。
　帝展奉祝展入選、第一回新作美術刀剣展入選、第二回新作美術刀剣展入選。
　「聖代刀匠位列表」(栗原彦三郎謹選) 神品の列12名の一人。

　　　Tachi-mei: Tōto-Jūnin Ikkansai Kunimori Kinsaku
　　　Ikkansai Kunimori: Aging 1933, he is Japanese Sword Forging Association's chief swordsmith (Yasukuni-tō).
　　　Mei is "Yasuhiro".Aging 1936, he is a chief swordsmith of the Okura Forging Workshop. Mei is "Toshihiro".
　　　The Mei of "Kunimori" was used only within the Guntō forged with Western iron by the special order.
　　　He is one of 12 persons of the position of God (top) by "The imperial swordsmith ranking table" which Hikosaburō
　　　Kurihara selected,

品質・配色は美術刀剣といえる程の上質な外装　　The mounting made very carefully.

鍔外周(耳)の黒染めは殆ど剥げている　　　防塵二分割口金、銀無垢のハバキに「殉國」の彫り

全切羽装備・駐爪式・尉官刀緒付 (全長:102.0㎝)

"Kanemasa"

First stage type Mei: Kanemasa、Modern-tō,　(Blade length: 68.2㎝, Curvature: 1.4㎝),
Iron scabbard: Special order color: Ashes green gloss coating., Mallow-shaped openwork guard,
Spring-clip. All the washers equipment, With the tassel for company officers,
Overall length: 102.0㎝.

　　　陸軍受命刀匠栗本正一。　「聖代刀匠位列表」 (栗原彦三郎)良工上位の一人。

　　　Mei: Kanemasa
　　　Army commission swordsmith:
　　　Syoichi Kurimoto By "The imperial swordsmith ranking table" which Hikosaburo Kurihara selected,
　　　he is one person of the higher rank of "a good swordsmith".

鍔から左右に。大切羽、菊刻み、縦刻み(タテシノ)、小刻み

比島リバ基地待機所の陸軍万朶隊々長・岩本益臣大尉

九八式軍刀を刀帯に佩く。軍刀定位置佩用の状況が確認できる。　
昭和19年11月5日朝、万朶隊の岩本隊長は、陸軍九九式双発軽爆撃機(双軽)でリバからマニラに向かったが、マニラ上空で敵戦闘機群
と遭遇して散華した。
これは第四航空軍司令官で愚将の冨永恭次中将が、顕示欲から特攻隊長と宴会をしたいという無意味な自己満足の為に岩本大尉を
マニラに呼び寄せたことによる。
岩本大尉は、この愚将の為に無念の死を遂げた。特攻作戦を目の前にしての悲運であった。
隊長を失ったリバ基地の田中曹長以下4名は、11月13日、レイテ湾の敵艦船に突入して散華した。

　The army Banda party flight officer who has sat in the state where the Type 98 Guntō is carried to the hip girdle of
the sword in the standby place of the Riva-base in the Philippines.
　The situation of the regular position which carries a Guntō can be checked.
　Although five executive members below Captain Iwamoto of a Banda party went to Manila with the army Ttype-99
twin-engined light bomber for the strategy arrangement, they encountered the enemy fighter group over Manila, and
were killed in war all the members in the morning of November 5, 1944.
