陸 軍 搭 乗 員 軍 刀
短寸軍刀を持つ戦車兵と飛行兵

制式型 銘: 包則、越前國、寛文新刀、(刃長: 53.1㎝・
反り: 1.3㎝)、黒鮫皮巻木鞘、佐官刀緒付
(全長: 80.5㎝)
制式形態で鮫皮巻木鞘の外装。鮫皮巻木鞘では、山下奉文陸軍大将佩用の茶研出鮫皮巻木鞘の九八式軍刀が有名。
年配の高級将校は、軍刀を軽くする為に重い鉄鞘を避けて、鮫皮巻木鞘や漆塗木鞘を特注で造らせた。
これは高級将校用の特注品で特定の意図を感じる。陸軍航空隊での使用ではないだろうか。戦車の中では長すぎるように思われる。

Mei: Oshu Aizu-jū Kanenobu,
Kanbun Shin-to, (Blade length: .54.6㎝, Curvature: 0.5㎝),
Iron scabbard: Blrown gloss
coating,. Habaki-dome, With the tassel for ompany officer,
Overall length: 86.0㎝.
※ Wakizashi: Blade length is a short
sword of 60cm or less. The townspeople were able to carry the Wakizashi
at the Edo period.
※ Habaki-dome: How to stop a blade by
the frictional resistance of a collar and a wooden scabbard.
兜金の茶塗装は全部剥げている。この短軍刀は搭乗者に使われた可能性がある
Brown paint of the pommel Kabuto-gane has all come off. This
short Gunto may have been used by the tank or the air crew.

銘: 奥州會津住兼信
初代鈴木半兵衛兼友の作。
同人は延宝末年(1680年)迄、「兼信」と称す。
二代目近江大掾古川兼定に師事。
師の死去後、その子の五代目兼定が幼年であった為、これを捕翼したことから、別に「爺兼友」とも言
う。亨保10年(1725年)81歳で死去。
Mei: Oshu Aizu-jū Kanenobu
He called "Kanenobu" till 1680.
He studied under the second generation Omi-Daijo Furukawa Kanesada.
After a teacher's death, since five generations Kanesada, the child,
was infancy and this was
assisted, it is also called "Grandfather
Kanesada. He will die at the age of 81 in 1725. "

木鞘は打刀拵えの鞘を使用して軍刀拵えにしている。裏面の佩鐶帯左の黒く出っ張っている物は栗形。
