標準型　銘:　水野正範、近代刀、(刃長: 67.1㎝、反り: 1.6㎝)、防塵2分割口金、駐爪式、柄糸一貫巻き、
赤茶叩き塗木鞘、目釘一個、尉官刀緒付き。全長: 100.0㎝


"Mizuno Masanori"

Standard type　Mei: Mizuno Masanori, Modern-sword, (Blade length: 67.1㎝,　Curvature(Sori): 1.6㎝)
Protection-against-dust split throat, Wooden scabbard: Reddish brown semigloss uneven coating,
A peg is only one Spring-clip,　With the company officer knot,　Overall length: 100.0㎝.























この軍刀は終戦直前に作られたが金具は標準品が使われている。但し、目釘は一個しかない。
This Gunto was made just before the end of the war. However, as for metal fittings, standard goods are used.
This Type 3 Gunto's feature has only one peg.

　　　 本名水野貞三郎。明治35年、堺市桜之町生まれ。桜井正幸に師事。

　　　 栗原彦三郎謹選「聖代刀匠位列表」上工の列大業物(関脇格)。

無銘(短寸軍刀)

無銘、脇差し・新刀又は新々刀、(刃長: 47.0㎝・反り: 0.5㎝)、木鞘(赤叩き塗)、駐爪式、
尉官刀緒付　　全長: 91.5㎝

"Mumei"(Short Guntō)

Army short Guntō Mu-mei、Shin-tō or Shin-shin tō, (Blade length: 47.0㎝, Curvature: :0.5㎝)
Wooden scabbard: Red semigloss uneven coating, Spring-clip.
With the tassel for company officers, Overall length: 91.5㎝








刀身は新刀又は新々刀。茎が短い為、三式の特徴である第二目釘はない。柄にも第二目釘 穴が無い。
目釘穴は貫通せず、目釘挿入反対の柄木にネジ山を切って金属ネジ目釘を止めている。
鞘は標準の鉄鞘ではなく、刀身に合わせて特注された木製鞘である。外装全長は定寸外装に比べて約10㎝短い。
搭乗者が佩用した可能性もある。

　The short sword included in a Type-3 mounting. A blade is a Shintō or Shin shin-tō. Since a tang is short, the second peg which is the feature of Type-3 is not attached. There is no second peg hole also in a hilt. It did not penetrate, but the hole of a peg cut the screw thread on the hilt of the peg insertion contrary, and has stopped the metal screw peg. mounting is not the scabbard of standard iron. It is the wooden scabbard for which a special order was given according to the blade. Full length of a mounting is short about 10cm compared with an ordinary mounting.
　The crew may have carried.

佩鐶金具は「櫓(やぐら)金も肉厚があり、三式標準金具を使った丁寧な外装。鞘の塗色は黒を多く見かけるが「赤」は珍しい。
