尉官用両手握 りサーベル型　銘: 兼定、新刀、(刃長:58.5㎝、反り:0.9㎝)、駐爪式、鉄鞘(クローム鍍金)、
佐・尉官略緒付き　(全長: 90.8㎝)

For company officers Both-hands grip type:  Mei: Kanesada、Shin-tō, (Blade length: 58.5㎝, Curvature: 0.9㎝),
(for company officers) Spring-clip. Chromium plating iron scabbard, The guard of a cherry-
blossoms encaustic openwork, With an informality tassel for company officers,
Overall length: 90.8㎝.



刀緒は明治45年制定の佐・尉官共通の略緒
A tassel is an informality tassel for the field officer and company officer who were enacted in 1912.

尉官用背金終端の彫り: 将官・佐官用は、時代により背金全面又は5/6の
位置まで桜花葉・唐草模様の高彫りが付く
As for the backstrap for a general and a field officer, the convex

将・佐官用背金の桜花葉、唐草模様高彫
背金終端は、無地の他、「家紋」、「菊」・「桐｣(将官用)等の高彫り模様のバリエーションがある
